Ocimum basilicum. Large, dark green leaves. Spicy scent and flavor. Pinch off flowers to encourage more leaves. Good in borders and containers. Grows 24-30" tall. Full sun. Grow in rich, moist yet well-drained soil. Annual except in zones 10-11.
