Ocimum basilicum. Deep green basil with purplish stems and reddish-purple flower buds. Strong basil-licorice aroma. Great for contianers, borders, edging, and as an indoor plant. Grows 8-12" tall. Blooms in summer. Full sun. Prefers rich, moist but well-drained soil. Zones 9-11.
