Baptisia australis. Spikes of blue, sweet pea-like flowers. Native wildflower of the USA. Good fresh and dried cut flower. Once established, resents transplanting. Good in borders and meadows. Grows 3-6' tall by 3-4' wide. Blooms May to June. Full sun. Plant in average, well-drained soil. Zones 3-9.
