Cichorium intybus. An eye catching form of chicory! The deep green, arrow-shaped leaves are accented with a bright red center rib. Offers a complex, bitter flavor that blends well with other greens. Great in low borders, herb gardens and containers. Grows 3-4' tall by 2' wide. Full sun. Plant in loose, loamy soil. Zones 4-8.
