Allium tuberosum. Long, arching, hollow stems, much larger and more flavorful than chives, rise from small bulbs or seed. Slow to flower time means a long harvest season. Great in herb gardens and kitchen gardens. Grows 12-15" tall by 8" wide. Blooms in late summer. Full sun. Plant in loose, loamy soil. Zones 3-9.
