Geranium sanguineum. This mounding plant with bright green, round, deeply cut foliage displays abundant, large flowers of violet with dark red veins. Herbaceous and pest free. Great for cottage gardens, edging, and large containers. Grows 12" tall by 12-24" wide. Blooms late spring to early summer. Full sun to part shade. Plant in fertile, well-drained soil. Zones 4-8.
