Opuntia humifusa. Fleshy, oval, succulent segmented pads with clusters of sharp bristles. Large, waxy yellow trumpet flowers with red centers. Use in rock gardens, xeric landscapes! Full sun. Plant in well-drained, dry sandy soil. Zones 4-9.
