Aquilegia canadensis. Nodding, bell-shaped flowers with red outer petals and a yellow throat bloom on tall slender stems above a low mound on deeply lobed, bright green foliage. An easy care herbaceous perennial. Perfect in mixed borders, woodland gardens and mass planting. Grows 24" tall by 12" wide. Blooms mid spring to mid summer. Full sun to shade. Plant in moist, fertile, well-drained soil. Zones 3-8.
