Solanum melongena. A very reliable eggplant that sets bloom in cool temperatures. Produces long, slender, glossy, dark-purple fruit with a delicate flavor. Easy to tuck in mixed borders and containers. Grows 18-24" tall by 10-14" wide. Full sun. Plant in loose, loamy soil. Annual
