Foeniculum vulgare. Feathery, finely cut leaves with a bronze hue and a mild anise flavor. White flowers bloom July to October. Attracts butterflies. Good in borders and containers. Grows 3-5' tall by 2-4' wide. Blooms in late summer. Full sun. Plant in average, well-drained soil. Zones 6-9.
