Fuschia hybrida. Introduced in 1905, this upright fuchsia is more tolerant of heat than most. With its bronze red foliage and hummingbird attracting brick red flowers it has stood the test of time. Grows 24" tall by 18" wide. Blooms all season long. Shaded or semi-shaded area. Keep out of direct sun. Protect from wind. Plant in rich, moist but well-drained soil. Zones 9-11.
