Rudbeckia maxima. US native perennial wildflower with blue basal foliage. Drooping yellow flowers with a brown, raised central disc. Attracts butterflies. Nice cut flower. Tall borders, specimen. Grows 6–7' tall. Blooms from July until October. Full sun is best. Prefers deep, rich moist soil. Zones 4-8.
