Lobelia siphilitica. Light blue, tubular flowers bloom on upright stalks above this low, clumping plant. The dark green, lance-shaped foliage stays low to the ground. Native of wetlands and swamps. Excellent in shady borders, beds and mass planting. Grows 24-36" tall by 12-18" wide. Blooms mid summer to fall. Filtered sun to part shade. Plant in normal to wet soil. Zones 4-9.
