Hyssopus officinalis. Perennial herb. Aromatic light green leaves have a slightly bitter, mint flavor. Blue or violet flowers bloom June to August. Attracts butterflies. Good in borders and as clipped border hedge. Grows 2-4' tall by 1-2' wide. Blooms summer through fall. Full sun to part shade. Plant in light, well-drained soil. Zones 4-9.
