Coreopsis lanceolata. A native wildflower having dissected green foliage and daisy-like flowers of bright yellow atop long stems. Early season flowers are loved by bees and butterflies. Songbirds eat the seeds as the ripen. Great in borders, containers and prairieland gardens. Grows 24" tall by 18" wide. Blooms late spring to mid summer. Full sun. Plant in fertile, well-drained soil. Zones 4-9.
