Origanum vulgare. Perennial herb. Pale green leaves have a mild flavor when fresh and a slightly stronger when dried. Purplish pink flowers bloom July to September and attract bees and butterflies. May self seed. Good in containers and borders. Grows 12-18" tall. Full sun. Plant in average, well-drained soil. Perennial
