Capsicum chinense. It's so hot, you have to wear gloves and eye protection. A small, square, crinkled fruit, bright dark red when mature. Extremely hot! Scoville Units: 1,569,300. Great in kitchen gardens. Grows 4-5' tall and wide. Full sun. Plant in warm, fertile, well-drained soil. Zones 10-11.
