Portulaca oleracea sativa. Rounded, succulent golden-green leaves grow on spreading fleshy, orange stems. The leaves have a mild flavor and crisp texture. High in Omega-3 fatty acids. Great in low borders, herb gardens and containers. Grows 6-12" tall by 12-30" wide. Blooms early summer. Full sun. Plant in well-drained soil. Zones 2-11.
