Salvia apiana. Tender perennial, evergreen herb native to California. The very aromatic leaves age white. Spikes of pale lavender to white flowers. Attracts hummingbirds. Containers, raised borders. Can be brought indoors in winter. Grows 2-5' tall. Full sun. Plant in well-drained soil. Zones 8b-11.
