Salvia guaranitica. Tender perennial has tall spikes of intense blue flowers with black calyxes. Nice cut flower. Attracts butterflies and hummingbirds. Backs of borders, flower beds, herb gardens. Grows 3-4' tall and wide. Blooms spring through fall. Full sun to part shade. Plant in moderately rich, well-drained soil. Zones 7-10.
